Then the yield would have been better. This year I will check my spreadsheets and be sure to plant them all two or three weeks earlier. The problem is that you have to pull something from the garden to make room for the next crop. It's a tough decision, but I'll be stronger this year and make it as necessary.Veggie PAKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13250455377130668508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3712291801064010036.post-13193080556770601932012-03-08T08:05:48.771-05:002012-03-08T08:05:48.771-05:00Thanks! Two of the rows were planted weeks later than the first ones. I had three pickings from the other six rows before I picked the first broccoli from those two late rows. I attribute that to the lower rate for pounds per foot of row. It's 72 degrees today!Veggie PAKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13250455377130668508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3712291801064010036.post-71147123682436182452012-03-06T07:43:11.316-05:002012-03-06T07:43:11.316-05:00Beautiful broccoli . . . again! I don't buy a lot of veggies, but it is that time of year when I've eaten a lot of my stores and now I need to supplement.Daphne Gouldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17305049560953735881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3712291801064010036.post-33071266245507406572012-03-06T06:32:36.316-05:002012-03-06T06:32:36.316-05:00You did real good with your broccoli!
